I'm guessing if some of the other chans were finally added they'd have to get their own section as to not get mixed in with the 4chan ones.

Also if your looking at adding some features http://chanarchive.uservoice.com/forums/129489-ideas-suggestions-bugs/filters/top has a number I believe were never implemented.

That happens about once a month depending on where you live. Cloudflare is total shit and gets it's LA and East Coast servers DDOSd all the time, as well as Singapore too I think. There's nothing you can do about it except possibly spoof your IP to one that's in an unaffected area, you can see which servers are getting DDOSd(though they lie and say it's just low performance) at their website on the status page. It sucks because when it happens, everyone else besides a few 100 people can still access the site and it's like being banned. If you ever feel like waiting it out, the BBS usually stays up and people bitch about it in the lobby.
