>Cousin comments on how cool it would be to play N64 on a tv that big
>Go out to Jimmy Johns, bring subs home

>Clearly he wants to hook it up to the big tv
>Attaboy
>Cousin takes 3 steps down
>Trips on power cord
>Nintendo 64 takes uncountable hits including banging into the wall
>After making sure cousin is okay we plug in the n64

This is the only weakness the NDS has, unfortunally. After time, the cables that connect to the top screen will slowly get worse, and the top screen will ultimately stop functioning.

I would know, it happened to my NDS. I wish they didn't make something with a hinge. Those things usually break.

back in 8th grade, i kept my DS phat in one of the small outside pockets of my bag, one day the class was outside at the football bleachers. These bleachers are concrete and about 3 stores high with a chain link fence at the top and sides to keep people from falling off. well, someone decides to grab my bag and chuck it over the side. I turned around just in time to see him do it. I jolted up to the top to watch it tumble downwards onto the blacktop and the pocket my ds was in was the first place to hit. I promptly nut check the fucker and run down to get my bag and check on my ds, the ds had absolutely no damage done to it. That thing is a fucking tank!

a year later in my freshman year of highschool, my friend was borrowing it and was killed in a car wreck. I never saw my DS phat, my oblivion player's guide, or my MX vs. ATV again.

>> Anonymous 08/27/11(Sat)09:43 No.108149917
I had a Gamecube. It was nearly indestructible - it had been dropped, run over by a car (idiot uncle had driven over boxes that were placed outside while organizing garage(I'm still not sure how it managed to survive that one...)), dropped in a bucket when the mop caught the power cord, and it all still worked. Until one day the laser died. The laser died. Nothing else was wrong or broken. The laser just stopped working one day, and of all the people I knew that had a Gamecube they all still either have theirs or sold them while they worked. It's probably the only case of any pre-wii Nintendium item breaking. And even then it was just the FUCKING LASER.

Well the lack of nintendium in new products is intentional.

The more they break the more money they get when you bring them to be fixed or replaced with a new one.
It is just like with everything nowadays, everything is designed to break and fail.

It's how business works.

Only Nintendo product that broke was my Gamecube.

Not sure what happened, but basically after about a half hour of playing, it would shut off. Then after 10 minutes it would shut off. Then it wouldn't turn on at all.

I would have to leave it sitting for about an hour before I could play it for 30 minutes again.

I sold the Gamecube to Gamestop. I feel bad for the poor sucker that bought it.
