I had a Gamecube. It was nearly indestructible - it had been dropped, run over by a car (idiot uncle had driven over boxes that were placed outside while organizing garage(I'm still not sure how it managed to survive that one...)), dropped in a bucket when the mop caught the power cord, and it all still worked. Until one day the laser died. The laser died. Nothing else was wrong or broken. The laser just stopped working one day, and of all the people I knew that had a Gamecube they all still either have theirs or sold them while they worked. It's probably the only case of any pre-wii Nintendium item breaking. And even then it was just the FUCKING LASER.

Only Nintendo product that broke was my Gamecube.

Not sure what happened, but basically after about a half hour of playing, it would shut off. Then after 10 minutes it would shut off. Then it wouldn't turn on at all.

I would have to leave it sitting for about an hour before I could play it for 30 minutes again.

I sold the Gamecube to Gamestop. I feel bad for the poor sucker that bought it.

I hate you guys. I left my DS on in my backpack while walking home from my friend's place once, and got caught in a random ass thunderstorm, soaking everything (there was like no shelter anywhere close by). I tried turning it on when I got home but the screen would flicker for just a second and the speakers made a pop sound. This would happen every time from then on. I couldn't open the thing up because the screws were so fucking small. :_;

Droped my SP in a lake once. Came back to find it the next day. Worked for about a year afterwards, but then just sorta went kaput.
